Fishing in Texas

State of Texas, you need 2 licenses. The first is called the license. This is a prerequisite for which a person must have before being allowed to obtain a fishing licence.

The retention licence can be obtained from fish, Wildlife or FWP & parks. This is done by giving
the social security number and other requested information. A valid driver's license or other valid photo identification must be presented for security reasons for the license to process.

Once that is done, a fishing licence can be acquired that is non-refundable or transferable and is only valid for one year.

Here are some tips that will help anyone who wants to go fishing in Texas;


1. the first thing to do is get the right equipment: a good boat, fishing rod, reel and lure.
